The Indonesian police and DENSUS 88 have been known to use brutal, disproportinate force on the melanese population. I feel very sorry that the West and the UN let them down. They are not of Malay origion as Indonesian and should be independent.
How nations give up principles for enabling theft-the biggest Copper and Coal mines bring great wealth to Indonesia and the few collaberators running the mines to the detriment of the people who have zero quality of life-perhaps when all the timber is gone and the ground is emotied of minerals-the Papuans will have independence-until then terrorism prevails with percsecution. Sad but true.
